The RRB-wise and Railway/Zone-wise vacancy distribution is provided in Annexure B of the notification. Vacancies are provisional and may be increased or decreased according to Railway requirements.
Educational Qualification
1. Nursing Superintendent
Registered Nurse and Midwife with a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or B.Sc Nursing.
2. Dialysis Technician
B.Sc plus Diploma in Haemodialysis or two years of satisfactory in-house training/experience in Haemodialysis. B.Sc in Dialysis Techniques, Dialysis Technology or Renal Dialysis Technology is also eligible.
3. Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II
B.Sc with Chemistry as a main/optional subject plus a one-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector or one-year NTC in Health Sanitary Inspector.
4. Audiologist & Speech Therapist
Bachelor in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized university and registration with RCI.
5. Pharmacist
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Allopathic) or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution, with registration as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
6. Radiographer X-Ray Technician
10+2 with Physics and Chemistry plus a 2-year Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology from a recognized institute. Certain relevant B.Sc qualifications are also accepted.
7. ECG Technician
10+2 or Science graduation with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician or Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution. The certificate should be at least one year in duration.
8. Optometrist
B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3–4 years duration, with registration with the concerned Council/Licensing body.
9. Lab Assistant Grade II
12th/10+2 in Science plus the prescribed Medical Laboratory Technology qualification, as specified in the notification.
Age Limit
Age is calculated as on 01 January 2027. The age limit varies according to the post:
Nursing Superintendent: 20–40 years
Dialysis Technician: 20–33 years
Health & Malaria Inspector: 18–33 years
Audiologist & Speech Therapist: 21–30 years
Pharmacist: 20–35 years
Radiographer: 19–33 years
ECG Technician: 18–33 years
Optometrist: 18–33 years
Lab Assistant: 18–33 years
Age relaxation is available to eligible categories such as SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per the notification.

General Candidates

Out of ₹500, ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the CBT, after deduction of applicable bank charges.
SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minority/EBC Candidates
₹250
₹250 will be refunded after appearing in the CBT, after deduction of applicable bank charges.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of:
Computer Based Test (CBT)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination
The Single Stage CBT will consist of 100 objective questions for 100 marks and will normally be conducted for 90 minutes. PwBD/PWD candidates eligible for a scribe facility will get 120 minutes.

There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks prescribed in the notification are 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC-NCL/SC and 25% for ST, subject to the provisions mentioned in the notification.

Pay the applicable examination fee online.
Submit the application.

The notification states that the details entered during account creation, including mobile number and email ID, cannot subsequently be modified.
Important Instructions
Candidates should apply through the official RRB website only. Multiple applications to different RRBs or multiple applications against the same RRB can lead to rejection and debarment.
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification by the closing date of application. Candidates awaiting the final result of the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply.
