Educational Qualification

For Generalists

Candidates must have a Graduate Degree/Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university, including Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Data Science, etc.

General candidates: Minimum 60% marks

SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Minimum 55% marks

Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.

For Hindi Officers

Candidates should possess the prescribed Master's Degree qualification in Hindi, English or another subject with the required Hindi/English combination as specified in the official notification.

For Generalists, the final merit list will be prepared using Main Examination and Interview marks in the ratio of 75:25. Preliminary examination and descriptive-test marks are not considered for the final merit list for Generalists.

Preliminary Examination Pattern

The Preliminary Examination is of 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a basic pay scale of:

₹82,485 – ₹1,56,745

The approximate gross pay at metropolitan centres is ₹1,10,000 per month.
