Educational Qualification

Engineering Officer Grade 1 – Electrical

First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Valid GATE Score of 2024, 2025 or 2026 in Electrical Engineering.

Maximum age: 30 years.

Engineering Officer Grade 1 – Civil

First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil Engineering.

Valid GATE Score of 2024, 2025 or 2026 in Civil Engineering.

Maximum age: 30 years.

Scientific Assistant

First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry.

5 years' relevant experience.

Maximum age: 35 years.

Engineering Assistant – Electrical/Mechanical

First Class 3-year Diploma in the relevant Engineering/Technology discipline.

5 years' relevant experience.

Maximum age: 35 years.

Technician Grade 1

ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical, as applicable.

Maximum age: 28 years.

Technical Attendant Grade 1

Matriculation or equivalent.

ITI certificate of two years in Electrical/Mechanical is desirable.

Maximum age: 30 years.

Assistant Grade II

First Class BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA degree.

Minimum Grade-B certificate in the Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by NIELIT.

Maximum age: 30 years.

Multi-Tasking Staff Grade 1

Matriculation or equivalent.

All posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen.

Salary / Pay Scale

Engineering Officer Gr. 1: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400

Engineering Assistant / Scientific Assistant: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400

Assistant Gr. II: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100

Technician Gr. 1: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200

Technical Attendant Gr. 1 / MTS Gr. 1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900

Selection Process

Engineering Officer Gr. 1: Selection based on GATE score.

Engineering Assistant: Computer Based Test (CBT) + job-specific practical skill test.

Scientific Assistant: CBT + job-specific practical skill test.

Technician: CBT + qualifying Trade Test.

Technical Attendant: CBT.

Assistant Gr. II: CBT.

MTS Gr. 1: CBT + Trade/Proficiency Test.
